Hyred is a hiring platform constructed to streamline the hiring process from sourcing to onboarding candidates. The following presentation explains my creative process in designing the platform. From user research, definition, ideation, and final mockups, everything is covered in detail.
Introduction to Hyred
Hyred is a tool that helps companies in recruiting, interviewing, researching, and hire employees. The platform helps to keep track of all new applications and new jobs for which the applications are being applied. It also helps in scheduling interviews and each individual team can keep track of the schedule. A hiring workflow management system helps teams in screening all unnecessary steps and have a smooth and efficient hiring process. In short, Hyred makes hiring smooth and efficient.
Research into the Recruitment Industry
Recruitment is a very lengthy and time-consuming process. Many companies hire outsider recruiting agencies to get this task done. This increases the time of hiring and also decreases efficiency. Moreover, sometimes the candidates hired are not up to power. And with time the hiring process will become difficult.

In 2018 research found that 40% of global business leaders worldwide cited skills shortages as a constraint on growth. If the hiring process is not effective the workforce hired will be below average as well.

It’s estimated that 65% of tomorrow’s workforce will be employed in jobs that don’t exist today. That would make the hiring process even more difficult as hiring is not a single man’s job. A system that can be utilized by everyone is required that shows all stats and helps in analyzing and choosing the best candidate for the job.
Ideation for the Platform
Hyred is very simple and easy to use. Whenever a job is opened, it is advertised on different job boards. Candidates start applying through these job boards and submit their applications for the specific job opening which want to get hired for. The hiring companies schedule initial interviews for the candidates. This is not all, each candidate has to go through a selected work flow chosen by the hiring team and on each stage, they are evaluated. The candidates are then hired based on their performances.

Then there is a report section from which the effectiveness of the hiring process can be judged by each team and based on that the process can be optimized for the future if needed.
Dashboard
Hyred has a dashboard screen that shows all stats like the applications submitted, candidates hired, candidates rejected, when they applied, when is their interview, and their average evaluation score.
Jobs and Candidates
All necessary details regarding the job for which the candidates applied and their own details as well are being presented in the candidates and jobs sections respectively.
Workflows
Workflows are the backbone of any hiring process. They define the steps of the processes defined by individual teams to optimize their hiring workflows. A small example would be two contrasting workflows, one team utilizes tasks to gauge candidates' abilities while another team utilizes multiple interviews.

Hyred allows teams to define their workflows using an intuitive workflow-making process as depicted below. The workflow process allows them to add interviews/tasks/contact blocks, connecting them to make and use their own workflow.
Reports
Hyred provides our users with the ability to track every step of the hiring process with in-depth, real-time, and relevant analytics. Hyred also provides the ability to create well formatted reports from these analytics for efficient and summarized data tracking.
